Pairing fails / ‘Connection successful’ never appears

Work through these checks in order:

  • Wrong Wi-Fi band: confirm you selected a 2.4 GHz network — the camera will NOT connect to 5 GHz. If your router broadcasts both under the same name, temporarily rename one in your router settings.
  • SSID or password too long: both must be 24 characters or fewer. Shorten them if needed.
  • Camera not in pairing mode: the status LED must be blinking red SLOWLY. If it is solid blue, the camera is already paired — press RESET again (4–5 seconds) to force pairing mode.
  • Timeout: you have approximately 2 minutes after the RESET. If time expires, press RESET again to restart.
  • Missing permissions: ensure Bluetooth and Location are active on your phone and granted to the app during pairing.
  • Distance: keep camera, phone, and router within 1–2 metres of each other throughout the procedure.

Tips: If Bluetooth pairing (WIFI+BT) fails, switch to ‘Battery Camera (2.4G Wi-Fi)’ in Add Manually.
