How do I set up the camera for the first time?

  • Charge the battery fully before outdoor installation: connect the supplied USB-C cable to a standard 5 V / 1 A USB charger (not included). The charge indicator LED lights red while charging and turns blue when complete (~5–7 hours from empty).
  • Insert a microSD card if you want local recording (Class 10, 256 GB max, FAT32 — not included). Power the camera off first (hold POWER 3 seconds), insert the card, then power back on.
  • Download the Protect by STRONG app and create a free account. Verify your email.
  • Grant all requested permissions: Notifications (critical), Microphone (intercom), Bluetooth and Location (pairing only).
  • In the app, tap + or Add Device. Power on the camera (hold POWER 3 seconds). Hold RESET for 4–5 seconds until the status LED blinks red slowly — pairing mode is active.
  • Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and confirm. The app completes the connection automatically (30 seconds to 2 minutes).

Warning: The FALKY2K-S supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi ONLY (Wi-Fi 6 / 802.11ax). It will NOT connect to 5 GHz networks. SSID and password: 24 characters maximum each.

Tips: You can also scan the QR Code printed on the camera label (tap the QR Code icon in the app), or use Bluetooth-assisted pairing (Battery Camera WIFI+BT) if Bluetooth is available on your phone.
