I receive no notifications / Too many false alerts

No notifications at all — three layers must all be active:

  • System permission: phone Settings > Apps > Protect by STRONG > Notifications must be enabled.
  • App toggle: camera Settings (⚙) > Receive Alert Notifications must be on.
  • Detection type: Settings (⚙) > Alarm Management — the specific detection type (Motion Detection, Human Detection, etc.) must be enabled.

Too many false alerts (vegetation, animals, passing cars):

  • Switch to AI Human Detection only (Alarm Management > Human Detection Alarm) — the AI filters non-human movement, drastically reducing false positives.
  • Reduce Alert Sensitivity to Low or Medium in Alarm Management > Alert Sensitivity.
  • Configure Detection Zones (Alarm Management > Detection Zone): draw a custom zone covering only the area you want monitored, and exclude sources of false alerts (a road, a tree, a neighbour’s garden).
